Mr. Vikas Bhardwaj has been appointed Registrar General of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
Bhardwaj was serving as Registrar (Vigilance) of the High Court since October 2024. He had qualified the Himachal Pradesh Higher Judicial Services Examination, 2014, securing the first position, and was appointed Additional District and Sessions Judge in September 2014.
During his judicial career, he served as Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Una, and Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ghumarwin. He subsequently served as District and Sessions Judge at Hamirpur and Kullu.
Bhardwaj was posted to the High Court as Registrar (Judicial) in December 2018. He was later appointed Registrar (Vigilance) with effect from October 16, 2024.
He has now assumed the responsibility of Registrar General of the High Court with immediate effect.
