Shimla, Dec 22
State witnessed a shocking incident when a youth shot himself on Thursday morning in Paonta Sahib of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh.
DSP Poanta Sahib Ralakant confirmed that the victim Saheb Singh (21) is son of a former nominated councillor of Yuvak Nagar Parishad Indrapal Singh Shah.
The young man is reported to have shot himself in the temple this morning with a licensed gun which was kept at his home. After hearing the sound of fire, when the family members came running towards to scene, they saw that he was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. The victim was rushed to the civil hospital now referred to Medical College Nahan.
The victim was reportedly under stress.  Victim’s father runs a cloth shop in Paonta Sahib Bazar. Police is investigating the case .
