Himachal Pradesh recorded 127 new cases of Novel Corona Virus on Sunday increasing the tally in the state to 2176, confirmed a senior officer of Government.
Additional Chief Secretary R D Dhiman said that 41 people were tested positive in Solan distirct, 21 in Kangra , 18 in Shimla, 16 in Sirmaur, Ten each in Mandi, Six in Hamirpur and Una and five in Bilaspur.Â
He said that 245 people recovered in state including 15 in Sirmaur , six in Kangra, three in Hamirpur andone in Una from the pandemic. The tally mounted to 2176 in the state including 949 active and 1198 cured in the state. 12 died in the state and 15 others migrated to other states.
District Solan is the worst affected by the pandemic as most cases are pouring form industrial town ship BaddiBarotiwala and Nalagarh region . Tally increased to 548 om the district including 366 active cases and 176 cured.
Solan followed by Kangra as the tally inreased to 410 including 94 active and 311 cured, Shimla 143 cases including 85 active and 55 recovered and two patient died so far, Sirmaur 242 cases including 179 active ands 55 cured and one diedMandi 111 cases including 70 active and 38 cured, three died in the district and Una 188 cases including 57 activeand 131 cured and Bilaspur 73 cases including 22 active and 51 cured.
In capital town five family members of Covid-19 patients tested positive on Sunday. All of them shifted to Covid Deen DayalUpadhyay Hospital Shimla . The patients identified the family member of Additional Advocate General of High court who was tested positive on July 22. Positives tested today include the wife of Adl AG and four yrs son . A woman employee of Himachal Pradesh Secretariat.Â
Two cases were tested positive in the capital town belonging to Sanjouli and a resident living near Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. Two cases tested positive belonged to Mandli area of Rohru .
Income tax Department in Railway board building and MBA department in Himachal Pradesh University have been closed till next order.
In an order passed Subdivisional Magistrate Manjeet Sharma said that among the nCoV positive cases belonged to two offices. . The order has been passed as a precautionary measure. All the employees and officials working in these offices are being directed to be confined to home quarantine in their home. All of them have been directed to remain at homr during the quarantine period.Â
A 34 yrs old police employee belonging to Bilaspur district also tested positive who came in contact of Covid -19 patient.Among the three positive people in Una included a CRPF Jawan . They were shifted to Covid care centre Khud.Â
Among the Ten people tested positive for the nCoVÂ in Mandi district include two resident each of Khunagi village(Baisaid)Gumma (Padhar) and Gohar( Chichoyat) tested positive.
