Shimla, Feb 17
Snowbound Dhar Khasuni area of Rohru Subdivision of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh were jolted by 2.90 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday, about 84 km from here, informed a spokesperson of Indian Meterogical Department.
A light magnitude earthquake jolted several parts of Shimla district at 1455 hrs.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at Latitude of 31.35 North and longitude of 78.01 East and depth of ten km, in the Dhar Khasuni area in Rohru Subdivision of Shimla district.
People felt the tremors slightly but no damage has been reported.
