Late night on April 17, two more persons have tested positive for #COVID19;
The total number of positive cases in the state rises to 38 stated Nipun Jindal, Special Secretary (Health) #HimachalPradesh confirmed the same. The two confirmed cases have been detected in district Hamirpur.
Speculations are that the area may become a probable hot spot and timely stringent action is required in this regard.
‘The entire area of the district is immediately required to be quarantined and isolated to prevent the possible spread of Covid-19. Therefore, the entire area of the district Hamirpur be immediately sealed till further orders’, stated District Magistrate Hamirpur.
With this the total infected districts in the state have risen to 6 and total infected patients recorded have grown to 38. However total active cases are now 21
