April 17 at 2100hrs
Today one more has tested positive in Chamba district.
Out of 70 samples taken in the area 68 tested negative and 1 is being re-tested due to technical error.
The positive case has come from Bhatiyat area of Chamba and was working at Derabassi. He had reached in the district on 27th March and was under quarantine at Thulel institutional quarantine since 2nd April.
Reportedly he is totally asymptomatic and is being shifted to Tanda tonight
Officials informed that all his close contacts shall be tested tomorrow.
Now Chamba has 3 active cases whereby total found positive from the district is 6.
With addition of one more today the total positive cases recorded in the state is 36.
