After taking over the charge as DC Shimla, Aditya said that it would be his priority to intensify the slow pace of development plans of the state government. He said that with the positive support of all officers and employees, he will work towards benefiting the targeted sections from the policies and programs of the government.

In the year 2013, Aditya Negi started his services in the state as Deputy Magistrate Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district.He has served in many important departments and government institutions. Presently, he was posted as Member Secretary in the State Pollution Control Board.

He also appealed to the people of the district to follow the special standard operating procedure issued by the government.
