HP Police SI loses life to pandemic in Mandi

A Himachal Pradesh Police Covid warrior died of Covid-19 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College and hospital Nerchowk in Mandi district police spokesman said here today. Sub Inspector Dhani Ram age 54 years posted at CID Sub Unit Pandoh

succumbed to COVID-19 on 22.05.2021 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College and Hospital, Ner Chowk, Mandi.

Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police Sanjay Kundu mourned the demise of Sub Inspector Dhani Ram. The Police fraternity would like assure the bereaved family of their continued assistance, he said.

So far six Police Officials have lost life due to pandemic in the state include hon. head constable Rameshwar of 3rd Indian Reserved Battalion Pandoh, ASI Chandershakar, 5th IRBN Bassi, Sweeper Nanda Devi_ Solan, Barber Ghanshyam of Mandi and Cook Ramlal, Ist IRBN Junga.
