Chandigarh Manali NH-3 blocked by landslide 

Chandigarh -Manali National Highway was disrupted by a landslide at Aut Shiv mandir in Mandi district this morning confirmed state official. State Emergency Operation Centre spokesperson Sudesh Mokta said that information received from District Emergency Operation Centre Mandi stated that landslide had occurred at 0600 hrs this morning near Aut Shiv Mandir.

Twice in this week, all vehicular traffic was closed on this highway after the landslide . NHAI officer have been informed about the landslide and road restoration work has been started as teams of disaster management and district admn have arrived at the spot.

No loss of life have been reported in the mishap. A massive landslide also occurred on the road on Wednesday morning but it has been restored.

Number of National, State and link road are affected by the landslide and sliding of massive boulders and rock in the number of places in Kinnuar , Kullu, Lahaul Spiti and Mandi district

due to heavy recent rainfall in the state.
