Shimla, July 25
On Monday, 719 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the state, and 617 people recovered. As 4241 people were tested today, the State recorded a daily positivity rate (DPR) of 16.9 percent. The total active cases are now 4155.
Eight new patients were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. With it the total active hospitalized cases, for treatment are 65.
Today, Mandi reported the highest 216 cases with a daily positivity rate of 25.62 percent. Kangra, 92 cases, DPR of 21.59 percent. Shimla reported 91 new cases and a DPR of 12.63 percent. Hamirpur 62 (13.79 per), Chamba 52 (13.79 per), Bilaspur 53 (16.3 per), Sirmour 38 (10.05 per), Kullu 35 (22.01per), Solan 26 (14.94 per), Kinnaur 25 cases (14.79 per), Una 19 (11.51 per) and Lahaul and Spiti recorded 10 new cases with a daily positivity rate of 14.2 percent.
The total number of patients tested positive till date are 294688, and 4136 have lost life to nCoV. A total of 4770944 have been tested for COVID-19.
