Shimla, May 2
Gramphu-Lossar-Kaza National Highway no 505 has been opened for light vehicles after clearing snow from 14500 ft high Kunzum pass gateway to Spiti Valley of Lahaul Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, informed a spokesperson of Kaza Subdivision. He said that the general public is informed that Vehicular traffic was opened on NH – 505 ( Gramphu – Lossar – Kaza ) for to and fro movement of All Light Motor Vehicles and Two Wheelers ( Except Heavy Vehicles / Bus / Trucks ) are allowed to travel on NH.
He said that directions are issued to drivers and owners of vehicles to be parked only in predesignated parking lots to ensure smooth running of traffic. Police Department would also manage the parking and movement of traffic which would further depend on prevailing road and weather conditions, he added.
