An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter Scale Himachal Pradesh today at around 12:17 pm in Himachal Pradesh, reported a news agency. In a span of 8 days, the state has witnessed 4 quakes. From 2018 to 2019 Himachal witnessed 22 mild and small earthquakes. As per data from a earthquake tracking website https://earthquaketrack.com/p/india/himachal-pradesh/recent the land of Himachal and surroundings has shaken  for ninth time in a period of little more than 1 year. The 5 quakes occurred in Kangra/Chamba are in a period of 2 months. All quakes ranged from 4 to 5 on Richter scale. Other quakes in a year were noted in Saharhan, Keylong and Bhadarwah of Jammu & Kashmir.
