Two accused who were booked in a NDPS case and were tested positive for nCoV in custody were nabbed yesterday after they went absconding from Sarahan Covid Centre in Sirmaur district.
Superintendent of Police Sirmaur Dr Khushal Sharma said that the duo accused were booked in an NDPS case after recovery of 840 kilo poppy husk( Chura Post) from their possession. They went missing from Covid Centre on Saturday after two days of crime but were nabbed within two hours from a jungle.  The accused were identified as Ravinder resident of ward -no 17 Gulabnagar camp Jagadhari and Ravi Kumar resident of Veenanagar house- no. 180 both from Yamunanagar Haryana.
As the police took them for medical examination after their arrest they were tested positive for novel coronaVirus, however somehow they succeeded in skipping the police from the Sarahan Covid centre in Sirmour on Saturday.Â
