Charging of Rs 103 Cr excess fee from medicos:  HP  to file reply against MMU- Medical College

Commission said in the order that records of University submit before it also revealed that more than 1100 students who passed out and studing between 2012 to 2020 were charged excess fee tune to Rs.1,03,965,300. Commission invoking section 11 of H.P. Private Educational Institutions ( Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010 and rule 6 (b) of the Commission, also slapped and imposed  penalty of Rs 45.00 lakhs penalty on the petitioner University for charging excess fee from the complainants. The Regulatory body exercising its legitimate power on the violators ordered the respondents to deposit the penalty amounts within three months in the bank account of HPPERC from issuance of this orders.
