Shimla, May 6
State Unit of Congress Party expressed concern over the tracing of two new cases of Corona Virus Pandemic in the State stating that unregulated flow of people from the other states to Himachal Pradesh is responsible for emerging of new cases.
Addressing media persons at Rajiv Gandhi state headquarter Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh Rathore said tracing of new cases of mater of concern to this hill state .
Blaming the improper screening of people entering in the state he said that new cases are coming as the peroper health analysis of people are not being done.
Cuationing the state Government he said that if new cases keep on increasing with improper screening of people in the state it would further lead to undo the the benefit of 40 days lock down making it unsuccessfully by such deliberate  negligence.
Terming the recent statement made by prime minister Narendra Modi over the outstanding performance of Jai Ram Thakur Government during lock down laughable and exorbitant Rathore said that reference of screening of 70 lakh people of Covid-19 indicates that State Government is not presenting the actual figure of Covid screening.
Mere visit of Asha or Anganwadi worker to door steps of people was being claimed by the chief minister screening for pandemic is highly
unfortunate, Congress leader observed.
Showing surprise over alleged claim of making ‘Himachal Corona Virus free’ he stated that there is dearth of proper testing kits for screen people for pandemic in the state.
Congress leader said that against the claim of  screening of 70 lakh people for COVID-19 he had information that only 7000 people were tested for the novel Corona Virus sofar which is mere 0.1 per cent of total figures.Â
Charging CM to misled the people of state and country he alleged that the government has utterly failed to properly screen test the people coming form outside. He warned that such negligence could put entire state in trap of outbreak . Congress leader cautioned the Government to reform the health infrastructure to face the pandemic instead of indulging in self praise.
Instead of blaming Opposition to make Covid-19 as political ploy, he said that government expected to improve the shortcoming raised by the them.      Congress would keep on pressing people centric issues, if state Government would not take them in constructively or not improve it need remedy of political vision rather puting the question mark over opposition mandate to raise them, he added.
