The threat of Corona Virus spread is not leaving the doors of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur as now two in his security have tested positive for nCoV here. “Two persons of HP CM security have tested positive here today, confirmed a government official. He said that out of the two, one is a gunman and other is a driver of the pilot vehicle.
Reportedly the two employees had displayed symptoms, after which their test was conducted. On being tested positive both have been sent to medical facility for treatment. These security officials were also accompanying the CM on his tour to Kangra recently. After the confirmation, all security officials at CM residence and office identified as their primary contacts have been sent to home quarantine. Also the district administration of Kangra, has started probe for contact tracing of these infected officials, while they visited the district with Chief Minister.
Pertinent to mention that few days before, the newly inducted power minister and his family members were tested positive for Corona last week. Later even the HRTC vice Chairman and Former MLA Vijay Agnihotri and Mandi district party spokesman Vajinder Singh had also tested positive. Latest was on August 8, that the BJP spokesman Baldev Tomar, from Sirmour tested positive for nCoV.

Infact last month Himachal Pradesh unit of Congress party had demanded amount to murder FIR against BJP spokesman Tejender Thakur for allegedly spreading Corona Virus in C.M Office. Member of Assembly from Rural Shimla, Vikramaditya Singh had said that it was unfortunate that the BJP leader roamed in the state power gallery spreading pandemic contracting many during his recent visit to the capital.
