Shimla, March 28- COVID cases cross five hundred mark, 574 active in HP
After confirmation of 140 COVID 19 cases today, the total count of active cases has crossed 500 mark, up to 574. As per a media communique through health department, a total of 2700 people were tested, of which, 140 were recorded positive indicating a daily positivity rate of marginally above 5 percent.
Today, maximum 47 cases were noted in Mandi, 38 at Kangra, 14 in Solan, 13 in Shimla and 9 at Bilaspur.
The spokesman informed that currently there are 9 active hospitalized cases and 61 people recovered from the infection in past 24 hours.

Overall since 2020, around 5105132 people have been tested and 313697 have been tested positive in the period. Overall positivity rate in the period has remained around 6 percent.
