As per reports two Nepalese children aged between 5 to 10 years have been found deserted and living in a tank of a under construction building at Housing board colony Sanjauli in Shimla. The matter came to light when a citizen informed the local police about the children.
When the police party went to the spot with the locals who had reported they found two children living in a tank covered by tin sheet with blanket/crumble inside, as reported. These two kids were rescued by the party and they disclosed that their name are Prem and Kesar sons of Bhim Bahadur a resident of Nepal.
Sunny Saraf, the local resident who reported these kids told us that though he spotted the kids yesterday evening, but they were being seen here since past 5-6 days. In-fact though the kids were being spotted during day times, everyone thought they had come here to play, he informed. “But yesterday evening one of us spotted the children near that tank, and found that they are living in it. We immediately reported the matter after which police party came and rescued them,” he stated.
As per the initial reports these kids were deserted by their parents, and now they had no place to live so they took abode here. Currently both the children had been sent to Sarvodya Rockwood Ashram Shimla for overnight stay.
