Dhumal left unfinished BJP core meeting at Shimla

BJP also accuse Congress for similar factionism

The Ruling BJP in the state is trying to put the cart before horse to some how avoid accident in the upcoming Assembly election but undoubtedly it was facing various challenges within the party factions. Party held core group meeting at state government guest house Peterhoff of Shimla on Thursday but three members of the core group Rajeev Sehjal, Anurag Thakur and  Sanjay Tandon were absent from the meeting.
Former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal who skipped previous on August 9,  attended yesterday however he shocked the party senior leader as he left it midway. Though party sources close to Dhumal said that he had to attend a family birth day at Samirpur.Dhumal also shared his excigencies in the meeting however his adversaries in party seemed to have frowned over the development.
Remember, the BJP lost all the four by election seats in 2021, perhaps had to face the burnt of absence of Dhumal in party convassing.
Even in the parrty postmortem meeting held after that debacle Dhumal had expressed his inability to attend election meeting on health grounds.
In this one, out of 13 core group members three were absent in the meeting. This meet of the party was considered important for the zeal to work together in upcoming Assembly polls.
Meanwhile state Congress Committee also faced an unpleasant news yesterday as AICC changed the seven block Committees, dissolved them without consulting HPCC chief Pratibha Singh. Ruling BJP have taken a dig on factions in Congress in a press release issued here today. Former BJP president Satpal Singh Sati said in a statement today that Congress is divided into various factions as AICC and HPCC have no cordination with each other. Sati also commented on Congress in the press release stating that grand old party is on a worst ever decline, as senior leader like Gulam Navi Azad and G23 are expressing serious reservations within party leadership.
