The controversy surrounding the Samosa Scandal has taken a new turn with an FIR being lodged against the person who leaked the case. BJP state spokesperson Rakesh Sharma criticized the Congress-led government, alleging that instead of addressing pressing issues like the rise in chit fund scams and drug abuse, the government is fixated on silencing whistleblowers.
Sharma claimed that under Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, the state is witnessing a surge in financial fraud and drug-related deaths among the youth. However, rather than focusing on governance and tackling these issues, the government is preoccupied with punishing those who expose its failures.
He further accused the Chief Minister of ignoring development for the past two years and instead harassing individuals who bring his alleged misdeeds to light. According to Sharma, such actions are eroding public trust in the administration. He sarcastically remarked that the government’s priorities have left people questioning the state’s future direction.
