The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has canceled the Class 10+2 English examination scheduled for March 8, 2025.

This decision was made after an anonymous complaint was received on March 7, 2025, regarding the early opening of the English question paper at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Chowari, District Chamba.
After verifying the complaint through video footage from the “Exam Mitra App,” the Board confirmed the incident. Taking the matter seriously, the Chairman of HPBOSE, under the authority of the HPBOSE Examination Regulations, ordered the cancellation of the English examination at all examination centers across Himachal Pradesh. The Board stated that a fresh date for the exam would be announced later.
Dr. (Maj.) Vishal Sharma, Secretary of HPBOSE, signed the official notification. The information was shared with the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, the Secretary (Education), the Private Secretary to the Education Minister, and other relevant officials. The IT Cell was also directed to update the Board’s website with the information.
The cancellation was necessary to maintain the integrity of the examination process. Students are advised to wait for further updates from HPBOSE regarding the new exam date, notification maintained.
