Shimla, May 21
The fire in the forests of Himachal is continuously taking a terrible form. Due to the fire in the forests, forest wealth is being damaged in various areas of the state along with Shimla and Solan. BJP state spokesperson Mahendra Dharmani has expressed his concern over the fire in the forests of the state.
Mahendra Dharmani has said that due to the fire, along with the damage to the forests, there is a serious threat to the animals and the environment. He said that due to the fire, water sources are drying up, the heat of the fire in the blazing forests of the state is also affecting the glaciers, which has posed a serious threat to the environment. Mahendra Dharmani says that water, forest, land are our heritage, but every year due to forest fires, crores of rupees are being lost. He has described it as a serious challenge for the future.
He said that when the forests, water sources, glaciers of the state will not survive, then the existence of the mountain will also cease to exist. He said that he is not blaming the government, but telling the truth and drawing attention to the warning. He said that the forests are burning in the hill districts, but the government does not have any concrete action plan to stop this, even the forest department has a shortage of forest workers and the government does not seem to be serious in this direction.
Instead of being serious about the forests, the Congress government has limited itself to election campaigns and electoral politics. He believes that a worrying situation is going to arise due to the fire in the forests of the state.
