A fully grown Leopard intruded inside a house in Krishna Nagar area of Shimla and injured a youth grievously, later was tranquilize by the wildlife rescue team inside the house.
Police sources said that a complaint was lodged at 0300hrs by Jagdeep Kukeraja in the police control room Shimla that a leopard has entered inside a house of Gaurav Jaswal resident of house no 116/1 in the area. It had grievously attacked Gaurav and his mother and a pet dog lodged inside the house.
A rescue team of police and forest department rush to the spot and hospitalised the victim at IGMC Shimla. The victim has rendered multiple injuries at eight places on his forehead and limbs.
Later the wildlife officials took control on the leopard with the help of tranquilizing gun as it was locked by the injured youth in the bathroom. The unconscious leopard which appeared to six to seven years old was rushed to state wildlife rescue centre Tutikandi inside a iron cage.
The injured was discharged from the hospital after first aid and antirab Vaccination and is out of danger now. The complaint was lodged by  at Police station Sadar at 300hrs.
The wildlife animal was allured due to the pet prey.
