Guv nod to appoint Chairman of State Higher Education Council

Governor of Himachal Pradesh has appointed Dr. Sarbjot Singh Behl, Professor of Architecture at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, as the Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Higher Education Council. The appointment was made under the Himachal Pradesh State Higher Education Council (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018.
The notification was issued on September 21, 2024, by the Department of Higher Education, with the terms and conditions of Dr. Behl’s appointment set to be communicated separately by the department.
