Shimla, June 6
The Himachal Pradesh Drone Policy, 2022 was given approval here today in a State Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. A spokesperosn informed that the policy envisions creating a holistic Drone ecosystem built upon the foundation of Governance And Reforms Using Drones (GARUD). It aims to harness digital sky opportunities through institutional linkages with the National Education Policy, 2020, H.P. Industrial Investment Policy, H.P. Start-up/Innovation Scheme, National Skill Qualification Framework for ensuring future readiness of students and empowering them to access the job opportunities embedded in the Drone Sector. It also aims to propagate the use of drones and drone enabled technology for creation of employment opportunities and economic prosperity in the State.
Also today the Cabinet gave its approval for Himachal Pradesh Logistics Policy-2022 which envisages creating an efficient and sophisticated logistics ecosystem to support State’s industrial growth by strengthening institutional support through inter-departmental coordination in planning implementation and monitoring of policies and measures affecting logistics industry.
He said that this policy also aims at strengthening the logistics infrastructures of the State by promoting investment from the private sector to develop Inland Container Depot, Common Facility Centers, Integrated Cold Chain, Logistics Parks, Truck Terminals, Air Cargo Facilities, Quality Testing Labs, Integrated Cold Chain etc.
Posts and Positions
The Cabinet decided to create 12 posts of Mining Inspectors, 24 posts of Assistant Mining Inspector and 24 posts of Mining Guards in the Industries Department for checking illegal mining in the State.
It gave its consent for creating and filling up of 16 posts of different categories for newly approved Government College at Nohradhar in Sirmaur district to facilitate the students of the area.
New Patwar circles
It also gave its approval for creating five new patwar circles at Paliyon, Aambwara Sainwala, Kala amb, Devni and Naagal Suketi by reorganizing patwar circles Trilokpur, Moginand and Barmapapri in Nahan tehsil of Sirmaur district.
The Cabinet also gave its nod for creating new patwar circle Nangal by restructuring existing patwar circles at Hatli and Malhanta in Sub Tehsil Rey in Kangra district besides including two Mohals of patwar circle Agahar in patwar circle Malhanta.
Land approved for HRTC
It also decided to provide forest land measuring 00-46-08 hectare in Mauza Danoa, tehsil Baroh of Kangra district in favour of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation on lease basis for 99 years for construction of bus stand Baba Baroh.
New Fire posts
The Cabinet decided to open new Fire Posts at Nihri in Mandi district and Jari at Dhaunkhra in Kullu district, two new Sub Fire Stations at Udaipur in Lahaul-Spiti district and Killar in Chamba district. It also gave its nod to upgrade three Fire Posts at Chopal in Shimla district, Shillai in Sirmaur district and Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district, to Sub Fire Stations alongwith creation and filling up of 129 posts of different categories and 16 vehicles for effective managing of these offices.
Schools upgraded
It decided to upgrade Government High School Barot in Fatehpur constituency of Kangra district to Government Senior Secondary School, Government Middle Schools Sakaryar in Drang area of Mandi district, Government Middle School Kalkhar in Sarkaghat area of Mandi district and Government Middle School Mandi Khadana in Pachhad area of Sirmaur district to Government High Schools and upgradation of Government Primary School Dhadeek Dingri in Pachhad area of Sirmaur district to Government Middle School alongwith creation and filling up of 20 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Government Middle Schools, Palahidhar and Ghainidh to Government High Schools in Mandi district and Government Primary School Kandhi Tilli in Mandi district to Government Middle School alongwith creation and filling up of 11 posts to man these schools.
Health, veterinary and other decisions
The Cabinet gave its nod to open new veterinary dispensary at Bari in Municipal Council Sundernagar in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of two posts of different categories.
It also gave its approval to upgrade veterinary dispensary Thachi in Balichowki tehsil of Mandi district to veterinary hospital alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
The Cabinet gave its approval to create a new partwar circle Murhag in tehsil Thunag in Mandi district by restructuring patwar circle Shikawari and Kandi.
It also decided to re-open Outpost Government Railway Police Parwanoo at Taksal in Solan district under Railway Police Station Shimla for speedy redressal of law-and-order issues.
The Cabinet gave its consent to create one post of Superintending Engineer, Mechanical in Jal Shakti Vibhag at Dharampur in Mandi district.
It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Chandi in Kangra district to Community Health Centre.
It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Nagrota Surian in Kangra district by increasing its bed capacity from 6 beds to 50 beds alongiwth creation and filling up of 27 posts of different categories to facilitate the people of the area.
It also decided to open Community Health Centre at Darlaghat in Solan district alongwith filling up 8 posts of different categories to man this newly opened health institution..
