Shimla, June 19
A team of Anti-bomb disposal unit led by SP Shimla Sanjay Gandhi sensitized entire premises before the High court began hearing of routine schedule matters listed before various benches on Tuesday. According to security agencies a threat mail was posted on Himachal Pradesh High court and other courts in the country day before yesterday.
A mail received on the high court official mail giving threat of alleged blast however nothing suspicious was traced after sensitizing the entire premises. Similar mails were circulate to other High court in the country. Reportedly the agencies are tracing person who generated the content and motive behind such hoax.
Meanwhile Ashish Kumar , Secretary of HPHCBA in a communique to their members on the same day had informed that ” due to a mock drill High court would sit after 2PM.”
However according to Himachal High court senior advocate hearing was deferred twice and only after 1400 hrs it resumed the operation after careful watch and keeping high vigil on the movement of people in the court complex.
On Wednesday high court working normally.
