Himachal Pradesh Administration has eased out restrictions on opening of primary schools in the state however it shall continue to impose policy of no mask no service in the state.
Chairman of State Executive Committee Ramsubhag Singh said in a notification issued here today that decision was taken, keeping note of the present situation of COVID – 19 active cases and positivity rate in the State, in exercise of the powers under section 22 ( 2 ) (h ) and section 24 of the Disaster Management Act 2005.
“Education Department is now allowed to open the Schools from Class 3rd onwards with effect from Nov 10, 2021. For Class 1st & 2nd schools would be allowed to open with effect from Nov 15, 2021. ” notification said. Education Department should adhere to the safety guidelines and SOPs for COVID – 19 appropriate behavior and protocols.
In indoor, covered areas and open spaces , for all social, academic, sports, entertainment, cultural, political, religious and other congregations are allowed with 50 per cent of the capacity subject to adherence of the COVID – 19 safety protocols and COVID appropriate behaviour.
Any person violating these measures and not following COVID appropriate behavior will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the DMA 2005 , besides entailing legal action under Sec. 188 of the IPC , and other legal provisions as applicable.
This order would come into effect immediately in force till further order in all district.
