Officials clarified that this development is strictly limited to halting cross-border hostilities, and no decision has been taken regarding holding discussions on any other issue or at any other forum.
The reaffirmation of ceasefire protocols is expected to bring temporary relief to border residents, who have often borne the brunt of frequent shelling and military escalations.
