Had the Islamabad high court not stood by the decision of the parliament (Majlis-e-Shoora), Wg Commander Abhinandan would still have been in the custody of neighbors.
” It is the Majlis-e-Shoora (parliament) alone which represents the will of the people of Pakistan and the other organs of the state are expected to respect and bow to its decisions,” stated the court.
