Multi-storey building collapses near Degree College Dhami

A multi-storey building collapsed around 1315 hrs on Saturday on the National Highway no 88, near the Government Degree College Dhami, which is a neighboring area to this capital town. No loss of life was reported in the mishap.
Superintendent of police Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi confirmed that the incidence on the Shimla -Dharmshala highway. The building was evacuated before it collapsed. He said that owner of building was identified Rajkumar.
The exact cause of building collapse could not be confirmed but the SP informed that engineers of the public workers department rushed to the spot to find out the reason of the incident.
Though a report from the structural engineer will evaluate the exact cause but there is a possibility that digging near the ill-fated building may have caused it.
A video of this incidence on social media also displays that the three story structure came down like a pack of cards within minutes. The impact of the collapse developed clouds of dust after the mishap. The incidence also disrupted the vehicular traffic for a little while.
