Class I and Class II officers under the Government of Himachal Pradesh will attend offices on all working days, stated an order by the Health Secretary RD Dhiman today. The order further states that in all offices attendance and timing of Class III and Class IV (Contractual and permanent) shall be staggered by the controlling officers. Adding that even roster of employees shall be prepared in a way that 30% of employees will attend office every day and remaining will work from home, so far as practically possible.
Even the duty timings of employees shall be staggered in two groups. One group to report at 10 AM and another at 10:30 AM. Similarly timings for lunch and day-off shall also be staggered. Also provision of thermal scanning as and where practically possible, shall be made, stated the order. Besides wearing face mask, and having ‘Aarogyasetu’ app is compulsory. However the order will not apply to filed staff of department engaged in maintenance of essential/emergency services and those directly engaged in taking measures to control spread of COVID-19
