The State Government has decided to continue the curfew in the entire State in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic but the relaxation in the curfew would be increased by one hour from the existing four hours to five hours from Monday onwards. This was disclosed by an official spokesman here today.
He said that shops would be remained open during the relaxation in the curfew. He said that Deputy Commissioners would make a call regarding opening of shops in their jurisdiction by ensuring social distancing. He said that hardware shops would also be allowed to open besides construction in urban and rural areas. He said that barber shops, spas and saloons would remain closed.
The spokesman said that Dhabas, sweetshops and other takeaway restaurants would also be allowed to open subject to certain conditions.
