Tragedy strikes Sunni near Shimla as fatal vehicle accident claims 6 lives

In a devastating turn of events, a fatal vehicle accident occurred near Village Kadarghat, Sub Teh. Jalog, District Shimla, H.P., claiming multiple lives and leaving several individuals critically injured. The incident unfolded at 7:00 AM today when a pickup, identified by its registration as HP 63-0231, veered off the road, hurtling into a deep gorge.
The aftermath of the accident has resulted in the loss of six lives, with the victims identified as Gulam Hasan Godse S/o Jalaldeen, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Shamir S/o Bashir Ahmad, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Talib S/o Shafi, Karthal Tehsil Deoser, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Farid Ahmad S/o Gula, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Guljar S/o Bashir, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Mushtaq S/o Gulam, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K.
Six survivors of the tragedy have sustained major injuries and have been promptly taken to IGMC Shimla for urgent medical treatment. Their identities are Ranjet Singh S/o Partap Singh, Kadog PO Basantpur Tehsil Sunni Shimla, Aslam S/o Smile, Beri Nag Tehsil Beri Nag, Distt. Anantnag Kashmir, Talib Husain S/o Abdul Gani, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K, Aakash Kumar S/o Jwala Singh, Kaal Mandresu Vikasnagar, Uttarkhand, Ajay Thakur S/o Tilak Raj, Devi PO Kangu Tehsil Sunder Nagar Mandi and Manjur Ahmad S/o Basishar Ahmad, Baltegu, Distt. Kulgram, J&K.
The authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the accident urging the public to exercise caution on the roads, particularly during the post-monsoon period.
The Chief Minister has also expressed grief on the incident, and has extended all possible support for the affected.
