
Minor traced successfully by Shimla police, returned to her family
Shimla, June 17,
Shimla police traced a minor girl who did not return home after her school hours.
On a complaint by the concerned parents a case was registered at Police Station Dhali under Section 137(2) of the IPC about missing of 16-year-old girl.
Dhali Police Station team took immediate action and launched a search for the minor.
Police searched possible locations, interviewed local residents, and shared necessary information with various police units and neighboring districts.
A continuous search operation was carried out using technical and human intelligence.

During the investigation, the minor girl was safely recovered from Mohan Park, Solan, on June 17, 2026, and returned to her family.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the minor had left her home to attend a fair without informing anyone. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
