One hundred and sixty seven people of different muslim sects including from Tablighi jamaat who had travelled from Delhi or other locations in the past few days have been quarantined kn the state till date. A spokesperson of the state police department informed that of the total 32 are quarantined in Sirmour, 10 in Chamba, 53 at Baddi in Solan district, 35 at Una, 4 in Mandi, 23 in Shimla and 10 have been quarantined in Kangra.
He stated that a case under section 269, 188 ipc has been registered in Nerwa police station of District Shimla against 11 persons of Tablighi Jamaat. Reportedly they were travelling from Paonta Sahib in pick up jeep without permit.
He also stated that in week of curfew a total of 290 cases have been registered and 320 people have been arrested in the matter.
