The minister emphasized that the government aims to examine whether cannabis cultivation can contribute to the state’s economy, while carefully considering all the necessary conditions for its plantation. The committee plans to gain an academic perspective by visiting foreign states and universities.
To ensure the prevention of social and criminal misuse, the committee is seeking feedback from countries where the use of cannabis is not considered contraband. They are conducting thorough research both within and outside the state to explore all possibilities and potential risks associated with cannabis cultivation.
