Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh Rathore interacting with media today stated that people in this critical situation are expecting relief and assistance from the Union Government whereas they are busy in scoring narrow political gains by doing virtual rallies with objective to form Government in the state of Bihar.
”Government is expected to provide food for the poor, employment for those lost jobs or unemployed and revive the industries that have halted during the lockdown. “However they are busy in self praise, its like ’empty vessels most the most noise,” commented Rathore .
Remarking on the Union Home minister Amit Shah for remaining absent from public glare in last few months Rathore said that its pathetic that now he suddenly appears in full public glare and is addressing virtual rallies, but was nowhere to be seen when the Nation needed him the most.
Expressing concern over sudden spike in the new cases of Covid-19 Congress leader said that number of cases were in hundreds initially are now touching lakhs as India figures among top five nations having massive infestation of the CoronaVirus. Union Government utterly failed to address the pandemic as it could not tackle the serious challenges so far , he alleged.
Rathore’s statement seemed to be in connection over ruling parties hosting four virtual rallies in HP at Shimla, Kangra, Mandi and Hamirpur on Jun 10, 15, 20 and 25 which is scheduled to address by the Union Minister Ravishankar Prassad and Samriti Rani.
