Inclement weather brought respite from the prolonged dry spell in the state as thundershowers, rain and snow was experienced in many places in last 24 hrs. The wet weather came down quenching the thirst of the dry hills finally after nearly a month.
Light to moderate spell of Snow is witnessed in the High reaches of Kullu, Kangra and Lahaul Spiti today. Udaipur in Lahaul Spiti had 26 cm snow Gondla-15 cm , Keylong 9 cm and Hansa-five cm.
Besides other places experienced rain. Manali in Kullu got 30 mm, Tissa in Chamba 27, mm Gohar in Mandi 23 mm, Seobagh and Shalroo of Shimla 19.2 mm, Bharmour in Chamba & Kotkhai in Shimla 15 mm each, Bhuntar in Kullu 13.5 mm, Bajaura 13 mm, Kumarsen in Shimla & Bijahi in Mandi 12 mm ,Kasauli in Solan, Pandoh in Mandi & Chhatrari in Chamba 11 each, Dalhousie, Mandi, Wangtoo, in Kinnuar, Theog in Shimla and Mandi ten mm, Narkanda in Shimla 8.5 mm.
Sundernagar in Mandi 8.3 mm, Karsog, Rampur & Narkanda 9 mm each, Rajgarh, Sarahan & Jubbar Hatti 8 mm each, Banjar, Chamba & Kandaghat 7 mm each, Jogindernagar in Mandi 6 mm, Bharari and Shimla 5 mm Chamba seven mm, Shimla 5.2 mm, Palampur in Kangra 4.6 mm, Kufri, Kangra 3.8 mm Dharmshala and Bilaspur 3.5 mm, Solan 2.7 mm, Kalpa in Kinnuar 2.6 mm and Nahan in Sirmaur 1.7 mm.
Minimum temperature of Shimla was eight degrees, Sundernagar 12.7 degrees, Bhuntar 10.8 degres, Kalpa two degrees, Dharamshala 10.4 degrees, Una 13 degrees, Nahan 13.5 degress, Keylong minus 0.2 degrees and Palampur 11.5 degrees.
Temperature in Solan 11.5 degrees, Manali 5.6 degrees, Kangra 15.1Â degrees, Mandi 12.1 degrees, Bilaspur 13 degrees, Hamirpur 13.2 degrees, Chamba 12.9 degrees, Dalhousie 5.2Â degrees and Kufri 4.7 degrees respectively.
