Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu today decided to home quarantine or isolate. A Notification issued here today said that after Kundu (IPS-HP-1989) is home quarantined, all administrative and urgent matter requiring decision at DGP Himachal should be handled by Anurag Garg( IPS- hp 1993), Additional Director General, State Vigilance and Anticorruption Bureau, Himachal Pradesh in addition to his own duties till resumption of duties by Kundu.
A police spokesman said that Kundu gone home quarantine from today onward however his Covid test reports is yet to be released. It is second time that Kundu had to isolate in past one year.
Also since, Somesh Goyal (IPS- HP 1984) director General of Prison and Correctional Services who is going to retire from the service today. Government also ordered that ADGP CID N Venugopal- (IPS- HP -1995) should also look after the work of Prison and Correctional Services.
