Six time former chief minister Virbhadra Singh who had recently recovered from novel corona infection was hospitalized today in the Cardiology unit of the Indra Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla after deterioration of his health condition this afternoon.
A private security Officer (PSO) of Singh said that he was rushed to IGMC at 1720hrs after his health condition deteriorated. He was kept under medical supervision in cardiology unit in the hospital and allotted special ward no 633 in the hospital. Immediately after his admission  he was put on oxygenation.
Singh had contracted to novel corona virus two week ago and was hospitalized at Max hospital of Mohali. After his recovery from the Covid pandemic he was brought to his residence Holy lodge this morning.
The IGMC administration likely to issue Health bulletin in the matter this evening.
