After the warning issued yesterday by the H.P. state police, 12 people have come to forward to disclose their visit to Tablighi Jamaat Markaj in March. While informing SR Mardi, DGP of the state added that 52 others who had been in contact with these 12 people have also come forward. All these people are being tested and advised suitably. However a case under section 188, 269, 270 of Indian Penal Code and section 51 of Disaster Management act has been registered on these 12 people, of which 8 from Chamba and 4 are from Shimla, he added.
He informed that the one person found positive yesterday belongs to Gangath in Kangra district. Another 3 people who were found positive in Baddi, being treated at IGMC Shimla had traveled from Delhi to Nalagarh on a HRTC bus. Appealingly he added that all those citizens who had traveled on the two HRTC buses starting from Delhi at 4PM and 9:30PM are advised to self quarantine for 14 days. In case they find any symptoms they are advised to contact the doctor.
