On April 26, the woman was referred to PGI by Baddi for stomach
Corona free days for Solan district are at stake as today a women who is tested positive at Gurdaspur, Punjab was residing Baddi till April 26.
The lady who is a resident of Gurdaspur district of Punjab, used to work in Vardhman Company. The woman lived in a labor hostel made of floss and on April 26, she had a stomach ache and had come to Baddi CHC to take medicines from where she was referred to Chandigarh after first aid. However on Monday, news travelled from Punjab that her corona test is positive. Due to which sensation spread in Baddi and Barotiwala.
DSP Ajay, who is investigating the case, said that the woman living in the labor hostel has tested positive in Punjab. Therefore all other women living in the labor hostel are also being quarantined and other contact details of the positive wome are being investigated.
On the other hand, Program Officer said that the samples of the doctors and nurses who treated the woman in the hospital are also sent for examination.
