Bridge collapse cuts off road connectivity between Renukaji and Sangrah in Sirmour

A bridge collapse incident occurred at Danoi bridge, which connects Renukaji to Sangrah in Sirmour district on April 24. The bridge has been completely damaged, causing the road connectivity between Nahan and Renukji to Sangrah Haripurdhar to be disrupted.

According to reports from the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) in Shimla, the incident took place on April 24, but the time of the incident has not been confirmed. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported. However, the incident has caused significant damage to the bridge, which has disrupted road connectivity and caused inconvenience to the public.

The District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) in Sirmour has informed the district administration and the concerned authorities about the incident. The Public Works Department (PWD) team is expected to be deployed to inspect the damage to the bridge and the road connectivity. The police department is also likely to be involved in managing traffic and ensuring public safety.

The DEOC and the concerned authorities have advised people to avoid the affected area until further notice and use the alternative route via Jarg-Khud Drabil-Koti Dhiman-Khalakyar road.
