One dies, another injured in a bike accident in Spiti About the Author Himachalscape bureau

IIn a tragic incident, a motorbike met with an accident near Shego/Spiti/PS Kaza in district Lahaul and Spiti, today, resulting in the death of one person and serious injuries to another.

According to the District Emergency Operations Center (DEOC) Lahaul and Spiti, the bike with registration number HP03C 7266 was carrying two persons when it met with the accident. The injured were rushed to CHC Kaza for medical treatment, but unfortunately, one person, identified as Sh. Subham (23), son of Ravinder from Village Padhari P.O Baroli District Bhathul MP, succumbed to his injuries. The other person, Sh. Rajan (20), son of Rajesh Yadav from Sector 15 Gurgaon Haryana, has been referred to IGMC Shimla for further treatment.

The district administration Lahaul & Spiti, along with ADM Kaza, has been informed about the incident, and further details are awaited from the field. No support is required from the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA) at this time, informed a official spokesperson.
