The Election Commission of Indiahas  announced bye polls in Mandi Lok Sabha seat & three assembly seats of Fatehpur of Kangra, Arki in Solan  & Jubbal-Kotkhai of Shimla. Polling is to be held on October 30 and counting of votes on November 2, 2021.+
A press release issued by the ECI said that it has reviewed the Covid, flood and festival and cold situation in certain regions  today and after having feedback from the state officials, decided to held the bye election on Oct 30.
The ECI decided to hold Election in three vacant Parliamentary constituency in state of Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and union territory Dadra nagar Havali of Daman and Diu along with thirty Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh(1), Bihar(2) Assam(5)  Haryana(1) and Himachal Pradesh(3) etc.
In Himachal Pradesh bye Election would be held in Mandi Parliamentary which includes tribal district and Assembly constituencies where snowfall would start in November month Mandi is the second largest Loksabha constituency in the country after Jasialmair of Rajasthan having 17 Assembly constituency of Mandi, Kullu- Shimla, Kinnuar, Lahaul Spiti and Chamba district.
Election would be hold for Assembly vacant seat of Fatepur in Kangra,Arki in Solan and Jubbal and Kotkhai of the state which have to beheld before the end of present Assembly tenure November 2022.
