Himachal Pradesh unit of Congress party has demanded amount to murder FIR against BJP spokesman Tejender Thakur for allegedly spreading Corona Virus in C.M Office recently.
Member of Assembly from Rural Shimla, Vikramaditya Singh said that it highly unfortunate that BJP leader roamed in the state power gallery spreading pandemic contracting many during his recent visit to the capital. Congress leader asserted that this is unpardonable offense should not be taken lightly. He stressed that people’s worry is increasing with spike in the pandemic cases should be addressed.
Congress leader alleged that the social distancing protocol is being flouted in the state and BJP leaders are defying the prohibitions by roaming freely in the sensitive public offices.
Tejender Kumar was tested positive on Jul 21 after visiting Chief Minister Office, IGMC Shimla, Additional Advocate General Office at High court and other places.
As many as three to four primary and secondary contacts of BJP leader tested positive in the state capital town recently, warned SP Mandi in a letter sent to Shimla administration.
He alleged that government is discriminating while dealing with the pandemic situation as cases were being lodged on the Congress workers while BJP activists are being allowed to roam freely jumping the prohibitory orders imposed during the pandemic.
MLA alleged that despite gathering of more than 200 people in presence of Chief minister in a ritual ceremony organised by the BJP Mahila Morcha no FIR was registered. However FIRs are being lodged against Congress workers for similar congregation even in minor flouting of social distancing norms.
He said that Government should make public details about the funds received by the state from the center for fighting the pandemic. Even money collected and utilized under the  CM minister care funds should be disclosed, he added.
Lambasting State government for burdening the common man by increasing the power, water and bus fares recently, the young MLA warned the government that party would oppose all such anti people policies of the State government.
