Shimla, June 11
Providing relaxation in ‘ Corona Curfew’ the State government has decided to allow Shops/business establishments to remain open from 9AM to 5 PM daily. The same were earlier allowed to operate till 2 PM. However, the same shall be allowed for five days a week. This was decided in the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held here today.
Also the government has decided to resume public transport with 50 percent occupancy. However public transport has been allowed only within the state and there shall be no inter-state public transport movement yet.
Giving a sigh of relief to the declining tourism sector, the CoM has also decided to do away with the requirement of RT-PCR test, for entering the state.
The CoM also decided to have college exams. The final year exams have been scheduled in the first week of July. Hereafter first and second year exams shall be conducted, they stated.
