Out of the 51 unreported samples on Monday, 11 more reports were received related to people who attended Tablighi jamat function pertaining to district Chamba out of which four are positive and seven are negative. They belong to tissa region. Total positive persons detected in the state so far reaches 18 out of which 11 are Tablighis. Late in the evening 20 reports were received and all were found negative.
83 people were tested statewide on Monday. In these 50 people are those who directly or indirectly are related to Delhi hot-spot, had informed Additional Chief Secretary Health RD Dhiman here.
Including the samples sent on Monday, a total of 456 people have been tested till date he added. So far 4458 people are kept in quarantine, of which 2013 have completed their 28 days and are completely healthy, he confirmed.
He further informed that under ‘Active case finding’ campaign till today more than 23 lac citizens have been physically examined. Those with symptoms of fever, cold or cough are being provided suitable medication.
