In a notification issued by State government, all Ration card holders are herby exempted from biometric transaction on the PoS machine installed at the fair price shops till 31 March this year. The notification reads that the card holder can get their entitled foodgrains through QR code or Ration card number.
Also the Fair price shop holders have been instructed to keep a manual record of the same, like before.
