Former chief minister Virbhadra Singh passed away at IGMC hospital Shimla today early morning is to be cremated at his native place Rampur, informed a family spokesperson of Singh. Issuing a cremation program, family spokesperson Yashwant Chhajta informed that
last remains were brought to Holly lodge Jakhu Shimla at 0730 hrs.
Tomorrow i.e 9 July the the mortal remains of the former chief minister would be at Ridge ground from 0900 hrs to 1130hrs for public tributes, and then at Rajiv Bhawan (Congress party Office) Cart road Shimla from 1140 to 1300 hrs.
Thereafter they will depart to Rampur from Shimla at 1300hrs by road and will arrive at Rampur at 1800hrs on July 9. It would be kept for public tribute at Padam Palace Rampur from 0800 hrs to 1400 hrs on July 10. The funeral would held at Rampur on 1500 hrs on July 10, he added.
